MEMBERS
The member foundations of the Global Impact Circle form the backbone of our alliance—a growing network of organizations led by teams of visionary artists, educators, and cultural leaders. Each foundation brings a unique local perspective, collective expertise, and a deep commitment to advancing creative talent and social impact.
Together, these foundations and their teams drive forward the mission of GIC by implementing Global Advancement Programs in their communities while contributing to a shared global vision. Through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and aligned purpose, our members co-create a resilient and innovative ecosystem for the future of the arts and education.
In this alliance, every foundation strengthens the whole—amplifying local voices, expanding opportunities, and building lasting cultural infrastructure across borders.
Global Impact Circle Inc., headquartered in New York City, is a driving force in advancing the arts and education through a deep commitment to local engagement. Situated at the intersection of one of the world’s most vibrant cultural and economic hubs, we harness the city's creative momentum to forge partnerships, strengthen global networks, and catalyze lasting impact.
We believe that meaningful, sustainable progress begins at the local level. That’s why we work closely with communities to align artistic and educational initiatives with their unique needs, aspirations, and cultural identities. Through this place-based approach, we empower our member foundations around the world to build innovative, inclusive, and resilient futures—one community at a time.
As the Administrative Chapter of the Global Impact Circle, the Althafen Foundation serves as the operational heart of the alliance, advancing a bold vision for the future of the arts and education from its headquarters in Berlin. Positioned at the crossroads of local engagement and global ambition, the Foundation plays a central role in shaping strategy, fostering collaboration, and nurturing innovation across all member foundations.
The Foundation's international momentum was catalyzed by the combined leadership of Vitali Kivman (CEO), whose entrepreneurial expertise anchors its strategic direction; Mark Prihodko (Artistic Director), whose vision shapes its creative initiatives; and Marylea Van Daalen (Chair of the Board), whose guidance supports its long-term development.
Rooted in one of Europe’s most vibrant creative capitals, the Althafen Foundation is uniquely positioned to identify emerging talent, support groundbreaking projects at their earliest stages, and collaborate with global pioneers to shape a more resilient and forward-thinking cultural landscape.
As the Representative Chapter for Italy, the Fondazione Gualtiero Marchesi carries forward the enduring legacy of the legendary Italian chef whose name it proudly bears. Based in Milan, the Foundation is rooted in a philosophy that elevates all forms of art as essential expressions of Italy’s cultural identity. Guided by the Marchesi family's unwavering commitment to quality and tradition, the Foundation champions artistic excellence through reverence for the past and bold engagement with the present.
Led by the new generation of the Dandolo-Marchesi family—Bartolomeo Marchesi (cello) and Guglielmo Marchesi(violin), serving as Co-Artistic Directors—the Foundation provides a vital platform for advancing Italy’s fine arts sector. Through performance opportunities, educational programs, showcases, and interdisciplinary collaborations, the Fondazione Gualtiero Marchesi is strengthening the Italian artistic landscape and affirming its role in the global cultural dialogue.
As the Representative Chapter for Spain, Fundació Vera Música stands at the intersection of tradition and innovation. Founded in 2024 and based at the historic Real Círculo Artístico in Barcelona, the Foundation is dedicated to celebrating the rich legacy of Catalan fine arts while championing the next generation of creative voices.
Under the artistic leadership of Marc Migó Cortés—renowned composer and PhD graduate of The Juilliard School—Fundació Vera Música has quickly become a vital presence in Spain’s contemporary music scene. Through commissions, residencies, and developmental support, the Foundation empowers emerging artists both locally and internationally.
As an integral part of the Global Impact Circle, Vera Música extends performance and professional growth opportunities to participants of the Global Advancement Programs, reinforcing the alliance’s mission through its dynamic contributions to the global arts ecosystem.
