Italian violinist, ensemble leader, and educator Eugenia Ottaviano is a founding member and first violin of the Alinde Quartett, with which she explores a wide-ranging repertoire and engages in socially and artistically impactful projects across Europe. As a historical violinist, she is also a member of VERITÀ Baroque, performing on period instruments and deepening her artistic inquiry into historically informed performance practice.

In 2010, she co-founded the Ida Bieler Music Academy, nurturing young talents in an intensive and personalized artistic environment.
Her teaching and artistic engagements have taken her to masterclasses and juries across international conservatories and competitions. She has participated in leading chamber music festivals including the Verbier Festival Academy, Festival Quatuors à Bordeaux, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Aldeburgh Residencies, and the Mozartfest Würzburg. Collaborations with musical luminaries such as András Schiff, Ferenc Rados, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Jörg Widmann, Arnold Steinhardt, and Erich Höbarth have marked her artistic path.
A student of Salvatore Accardo, Eugenia brings a rich musical heritage into every performance and pedagogical encounter, alongside Ida Bieler, Eberhard Feltz, Günter Pichler, and Rainer Schmidt. She plays a François-Louis Piqué violin from 1790, whose voice reflects both tradition and innovation.
