Bartolomeo Dandolo Marchesi is a Milan-born cellist and artistic co-director of the Fondazione Gualtiero Marchesi. He is the cellist of the Alinde Quartett and co-founder of VERITÀ Baroque and UnderStories Ensemble. A member of the Orchestra of the 18th Century, he has performed internationally and won numerous competitions, including the 2024 Bach Competition in Leipzig, the "Cellissima" in Cologne and the Saarbrücken International Early Music Competition. Bartolomeo is committed to reimagining early music for contemporary audiences and has been recognized for his contributions to cultural outreach and education.
