GUGLIELMO DANDOLO MARCHESI

Artistic Co-director Fondazione Gualtiero Marchesi, Violinist

Guglielmo Dandolo Marchesi is active as both a modern and Baroque violinist, performing with numerous ensembles including the Alinde Quartett, VERITÀ Baroque, and the Gürzenich Orchester Köln. He is a prizewinner of several international competitions, including the “Premio Alfonso Rossi” at the Postacchini International Competition in Fermo. In 2012, he was awarded the Scholarship for Young Violinists from the Philharmonic Orchestra of La Scala in Milan.

He completed his diploma with highest honors under Prof. Caterina Carlini, and later pursued advanced studies with Prof. Michaela Martin, Prof. Richard Gwilt (Baroque violin), and Prof. Alessandro Moccia.

A firm believer in the unifying and transformative power of music and the arts, he is dedicated to fostering artistic dialogue across disciplines and generations.

He currently serves as Co–Artistic Director of the Fondazione Gualtiero Marchesi, contributing to creative projects that explore the intersection of culture, innovation, and legacy.
